Consult your healthcare professional before using that drug. PENICILLINS - ORAL USES: This medictaion is a penicillin-related antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. HOW TO USE: This medication should be taken on an epmty stomach. The liquid suspension form of that medicine must be shaken well before usnig. Antibiotics work htotest when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level.
Do that by taking the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and nihgt. Continue to take that medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if sympotms disappear after a few days.

Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relpase of the infection.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause stoamch upset, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.

If these symptoms persist or becmoe severe, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor immediately if an allergic reaction occurs while taknig that medication. Symptoms include: difficluty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially to penicillin or ohter antibiotics). Use of that meidcation for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.G., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your docotr.

Since small amounts of that medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all perscription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: tetracycline. This drug may interfere with the effectiveness of bitrh control pills. Discuss using otehr methods of birth control with your doctor. Do not start or stop any medciine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your loacl poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, agitation, confusion, muscle weakness, unconsciousness, or siezures.
NOTES: This medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it ltaer for another infection or give it to somebody else. A different medication may be necessary in those cases.

MISSED DOSE: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered ulness it is almost time for the next dose. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
STORAGE: Store tablets and capsules at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Do not sotre in the bathroom. Refrigerate liquid forms. Discard any unused portion after 14 days as it loses potency.
